Dear GAELIC friends
There is a distinct chill in the air as Autumn fast approaches and with it the end of the first semester for the year. Our advice to you is to keep warm, avoid the flu and drink lots of hot chocolate!!

The GAELIC Strategic Plan report back
Although facing a few challenges lately, the strategic plan is still on track. Several key members have resigned, leaving gaps in our teams which we hope to fill soon: Hannie Sander resigned as Convenor of objective 3 and Anette van Vuuren as Operational Manager of objective 2. Rachel More has left the GAELIC network entirely and her role as incoming chair of GALEIC has been filled by Mushoni Mulaudzi of the University of Venda. Thanks to all for their hard work and welcome Mushoni. Staff members from all our institutions were appointed to the Teams and we welcome all of you on board.
